NCS expert COAPI 1000 error, without solution!

    Hi!
My name is Attila and im from Hungary. First of all, sorry for my english.
    So, i have an E60 2005 530d pre-facelift.
I wanted to program a few things around the car, using NCS expert. I know it, because i used many times on my E39 523i. I can make a connect with the car. But when im read the VO codes from the LMA, it says $820 option is error, so i push a delete on that option from the list, without any problem. But when i select the Ecu to program, it says COAPI 1000, in the error log there is no another fault, just this. I tried 3 notebooks with a working NCS Expert, including the newest datens. I was read a lot of post about this thing, but i couldnt fix it. After a few weeks trying, i went to my friend, who has a 1000% working notebook with NCS. His job is to code a BMW cars, he is an expert trust me guys.
He also get that error, and he has no idea what is wrong.
Soo its super annoying. I spent a lot of hours to find a working answer for this problem.
My CCC and LMA module, is from a different car. Maybe someone is messed up to code those ECU's to the car?
    Please, help me guys!

Hi Attila, your answer is already inside you whole question.
If your CCC and LMA module is from donor car first you must rewrite them with your car VIN number; you can use WinKfp for that.
After that you can normally start with coding using NCS. So your friend isn't expert , he should tell you that.

Everytime when you replace module/retrofit you must write you car VIN number to part which you being replaced.

    Hi Wojtek!
    Thank younfor your answer
But, he did the VIN rewrite, because the LMA module has a different. So now, every part has the same VIN number :/

    Hi Daemonfool1.

So, if you say that VIN is rewrited, try to rebuild FA for LMA module. (hope if in CAS everything is fine)
1: Decode you VIN, then read FA to text file.
2: Create a .ssd file including all option what your car should have (thats why you decode a VIN).
3: Open NCS: F1->F5 (you choose .ssd file)-> Back -> F4 (Process ECU).

    Everything should be worked now.
And then you can change option or start coding what you want.

    Regards
    Wojtek

    Heyy!
Okay, i tried exacty what you said, but no luck. I created the correct .ssd file, and when i pressed the back button, i got the coapi 1000 error.
Ps.: i changed the VIN number with tool32 succesfully, but with Inpa, its still shows the bad VIN.
Soon im gonna surrend up the whole coding

Hi send me your vin number via private message and screenshot from your FA

Uninstall whole software, download one more time, example from BimmerGeeks, install,
Update SP-Daten to latest version, and use Expertmodus or Revtor profile to coding.

If still without success, I can try to help you via TeamViewer if want.

    Heyy!
    Thank you for your help!
But i surrend it, and today morning i went to a specified BMW shop to find a way to fix it.
The guy had a lot of experience about theese problems, and he used legal NCS and ISTA+ databases. So he find the $820 VO, and the in the newest database it sad, its an latin-american package. He deleted that option and did a full FA write. And thats all, NCS now works without any problems
