    ECU Pins

I'm trying to re-pin my ecu but I am having trouble finding any info on the pins. I have a 413 DME and an ecu wiring harness from a 1994 325i. Does anyone know where I can get ecu connector pins like the ones pictured?

    A few
I don't see a picture in your post but why do you need to re-pin the ecu? the 413 "red label" DME is compatible with an OBD1 wiring harness from a 1994 325i.

I need to put a new wire in the connector that plugs into the DME because the original wire that came out of the connector was cut and its too short to do anything with. So I need a new pin/crimp, hence a re-pin. Make sense?

To be more clear, I am looking for a source for the pin/crimp that plugs into the connector that plugs into the DME. I just need 1 for now but I'll buy more to have for later.

Realoem will have that sort of stuff.
Why wouldnt you just solder the short wire to another longer wire? Alot less stress and work.

I wasn't able to find it on Realoem. Soldering won't work in this case. Anyone know where I can get the pin/crimp?

Most of those pins are in realoem, under "vehicle electrical system", scroll to bottom. Various connector pins under "wiring harness repair", "various wiring harness connectors", etc. You may have to make some measurements to know you have the right one. This MAY be it?

I'll have another look at Realoem. All I found was the connectors themselves and not the pins, but I must have missed it. I appreciate the link. I never would have guessed they are called a "double leaf spring contact."

In case anyone else needs this, after searching Real OEM for some time I believe the correct part is PN # 12520007251. The pictures of this part look the same as the part I pulled out of the DME connector. Here is a link:

Do you have info on what the release tool is called or where I can get it? I was able to get one out without the tool but I'd rather use the special tool to be safe.
