Drivetrain malfunction
Hey everyone I was driving last night and check engine came on after a few seconds Drivetrain malfunction came on the screen (2013 alpina b7) . I took it to autozone to get a code on it and it came up with bunch of different codes. P0171, P10FA P0172. When the car is idle it feels like its about to die on me. Any ideas?
Here's what I found.

There was a delay in posting and I just didn't have the time to wait for an admin to approve it yesterday, sorry. What I wanted to say was to check you engine bay and listen to how the motor is running. Just know that the Coil Over Plugs or COPs are just pressed into place. If you have recently hit a pothole or somehow jostled them, it's good to have a look by just removing the cover and pressing on the COPs. While you are there, make sure the MAS/MAFs are still plugged into the intake tubes. Check your exhaust of white smoke or black smoke. White means lean, while black or dark smoke means rich.
Another thing, I have noticed that immediately driving off without letting your car warm up for even a minute could cause erroneous readouts when it is cold out. Remember relays stick in cold weather.
I'm sure you have an update on how the car is running.
P codes are worthless. If you want to diagnose and repair your vehicle yourself, get a scanner that can read and show BMW specific codes. It'll be well worth the extra cost over a cheap P code reader.
Mixture control problems can be caused by a number of things, so you've got some work to do unless you take it to a reputable BMW repair facility (not just any Joe Blow mechanic shop). Vacuum leaks, low fuel pressure, faulty MAF sensors, etc just to name a few.

I work at a dealership and only use ISTA. I don't have any experience with anything else. Sorry. Maybe someone else will chime in and give a recommendation.
