    What DSSR with RTD shifter?

I’ve recently acquired a RTD non lockout shifter. I’m looking for a DSSR that is known to work well with it. Car is a 328i with ZF 5 speed. Thanks!

I used the AKG one but I've read that DSSR isn't really even needed?

You will need solid motor/trans mounts though or you risk money shifting.

Any DSSR with OEM dimensions should work. I'd expect the OEM single sided shift arm would work fine too. I guess the ideal setup might be one of those adjustable length DSSR's, but DSSR's and adj length DSSR's are damn pricey. I think DSSR's are probably one of the least performance/$ things we buy, and yep, I have one (and an RTD shifter).

I’ve got all solid mounts on the car. I don’t have a stock selector rod on hand so I’ll have to source one but I just figured a DSSR would be best. I’ve been looking at AKG but It’s 140$. Revshift is coming out with some so I tried calling them about it and no answer.
    Thanks guys!

By solid mounts, do you mean aluminum or do you just mean non-stock mounts (i.e. stiff polyurethane is fine)?

I'm on 75D polyurethane mounts and have never had an issue in 2.5 years.

    Knock on wood!

It's simple. The harder the mounts, the less the shifter moves.

I have 75D mounts as well. I figured that's what you meant (i.e. not literally solid but just very stiff) but just wanted to be sure.

I have the Ireland engineering version... little to no difference and a PITA to install. Save your money towards something else.
