As much as I hate to do it, it is time to sell my dream car. I wanted an E39 M5 since the first time a drove one, but I am building a shop at my house and I am so far over budget I can't see straight.
I bought it from the 3rd owner in May 2016 at 100k. It was garage kept until about 8 months ago. It was going to be stored in the shop, but I can't seem to catch a break building it.
It currently has about 124k miles. Mileage will continue to go up, although not much.
Extended leather, M Audio, folding seats. I cant remember what wood trim I have, but i installed technical graphite a few months ago. I will include the original trim.
19x9.5 square VMR 718 wheels on Nitto NT555 tires. Spec twin disk clutch, X5 thrust arm bushings, new ac compressor/dryer, fan blade, belts and pulleys, all 4 moisture barriers, and stainless brake lines all done in the last 6 months. RK Autowerks aluminum radiator, thermostat, new oe fan clutch, fuel pump, filter, regulator and siphon pump replaced at 115k. AFE intake and Hayward and Scott rear section exhaust. E60 shifter done at 100k. I will include the original intake. I have a new Behr aux fan for it. I never installed it because it was the ac compressor making noise.
Original paint so there are blemishes, dents, and dings, but nothing bad. I bought this car to drive it, and that's what I did. I think you will be hard pressed to find an interior in as good of shape as this one at this price/mileage.
Asking $17,500 OBO. I might entertain a partial trade for a 540 or other Bimmers. Maybe even a truck. More pics on request.
Located a few miles south of Memphis, TN.
