I think my window switch is bad. Window partially going up and the down button works every 9th attempt... is this an easy pop out or does entire door panel have to come off

Removal instructions for this switch should be easily found on the TIS website (BMW's technical information systems). Just click the following link, enter the last 7 digits of your VIN (or select appropriately)...then type a simple key word or phrase like...replace window switch (front) into the search box. Hmmm...don't know if you took advantage of the info and link above...but just in case you didn't...here's some of the info from those instructions from two days ago...now that I'm on a CPU and not my tablet I can insert images quicker & easier:

Lever clip (1) with special tool 00 9 322 out of armrest on front door (2).
Using a suitable tool (1), press power window switch (3) through opening (2) out of armrest on front door (4).
Installation:
To prevent damage to armrest pad: insert power window switch (1) guided by special tool 00 9 341 into armrest on front door (2).

I used a 2 plastic Gift cards. Then inserted a flathead screwdriver in between them to lift the Leather armrest off. Then u have full access of the window switches or removal of the wood trim.
