Z4 Hard Top Question

Hi, brand new on this forum, but a longtime BMW owner/racer.

I just picked up a 2004 Z4, right hand drive from Japan. Amazing with less than 20,000 miles on it.

I was wondering if it is possible to get a hardtop for it. The build sheet indicates "hardtop preparation", so I am assuming that
it has whatever is necessary to attach a hard top.

I have a 2004 Z4 Euro spec Z4 with convertible top. It is a right hand drive from Japan (amazing condition - only 20,000 miles).I was wondering if it is possible to just purchase a hard top. The Vin build sheet says "hardtop preparation". Does this mean the hard top will simply fit?

You can get them though they are hard to find and expensive. Ive also heard the aftermarket ones always have fit issues so I would try to stay OEM.

They exist, I have one. Although I was lucky and found one used like 12 years ago.
