    Lol, i remember being really confused with those on my '99, which I sold in 2008, so no idea how 11 years later those pictures looked familiar.

    Overengineered in my opinion but they do the job of securing the flaps. All the threads I read that said these would clip to the body... we're simply wrong. Next up, rear flaps (not made for 2.8 but I have ideas) and snow tires. I'm about ready for winter.

    Unless you have different rear flaps, they were actually specifically made for the 2.8 style bodywork

    Oh interesting. They have no VHB pre-installed like the fronts do and seem like they need a little something to keep them flush to the bumper. Also the screw that holds bottom of bumper to fender shield doesn't line up with any hole in the flap and would need to be removed for bottom of flaps to sit flish. I read somewhere to drill a hole right in between the two existing holes offset about 3/16" to the rear to be able to utilize that bolt with the flap.

    I also read that rear flaps were specifically designed for the 1.9, but I've learned everything I read isn't holding true.
