Hi all,
I have bought an R56 Cooper S, shortly after buying it, I have a melted piston.
I have sourced another engine, however I have been told that the melted piston is probably due to someone put a bad map on to the ECU/DME.
If there is a chance that has happened, I want to return the ECU/DME back to stock.
I have an OBD cable from cableshack that works on both my F07 and my old E60.
I have used NCSExpert on the mini to change various codings and also Tool32 to reset the steering lock counter.
I have a full PSZdata or what ever its called, took days to download.
How do I go about flashing the ECU/DME back to standard?
Thanks all.
