But, when you’re behind the wheel, it feels bigger and badder than most others. Owning and driving one has been a real game changer.
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?

No fair, Nathan. That fish-eye view REALLY exaggerates the discrepancies in size here.
    Still, fun photo.
    Nice one.

Yeah I know the photo is skewed haha . That's actually my dad's Escalade and my sister's X4. I shot the pic as we were all a holes parking in 2 hour parking after my mom was in the hospital for 4 days after an appendectomy and a bad infection as a result of the surgery. We got sick of schlepping it from the boonies (and the nurses told us not to worry). All good now; mom is home and recovering.

I love how everyone in Alberta backs in to their parking space. Lol

The Z3 looks like a go cart between those piggy trucks.

I notice it here, too. I don't think it was common before everybody had backup cameras with guide lines, and even predictive moving guidelines. I have a hard time doing it in our two cars that pre-date cameras.

A lot of that is habit from working in O&G sites there where all vehicles must always be backed into parking spaces. I was up for a month last year and it's amazing how quickly the habits form.

I did it a lot more before backup cameras, worrying about someone walking behind my truck when I was leaving.

Same here. A few years of oil sands work in Alberta and local O&G sites in CO and I back in most of the time too. Rule was you honk twice before reversing and once when proceeding forward.
