Photographic reminders of how small the Z3 is.

I had occasion to take a few snaps of my Z3 next to some other vehicles, as an indication of its diminutive size.
Feel free to comment or share your own.

At The Race of Gentlemen in Wildwood, NJ on Saturday, I was able to park opposite a Studebaker Avanti from the early 1960s. I did not realize they are so long. Note the length of its wheelbase, and the substantial frontal overhang:

Parked behind a Ford F-350 Super Duty. The composition of this exaggerates the size difference, but it reminds me how vulnerable I am when driving the Zed:

I'd be glad to see any photos you wish to share.
    Brad

After 3 years, I"m used to mine now. I forget how small it is until I see others in traffic. They look really small.

I often feel mine is big since I was used to Miatas. My Z4 also feels a little smaller but I'm not sure which is bigger.

So true! You really get it when the Subaru Outback running next to you on the freeway looks huge. Then a Suburban pulls up and you're looking into the wheel well. A totally different sensation than when you're alone out on the open road.
You can’t have everything. Where would you put it?

Then there's this pic from Japan (originally posted on Facebook):

The Z3 fills the entire parking spot. What does that say about the other cars in the country? Hmmm.

I never saw those went looking things in front of the rear wheels. Does anyone have a link where to buy them?

I originally saw this on Facebook in the Modified BMW Z3 and M Roadsters Group.

This link should get you to the page where it is displayed.

Looks like an interesting site, but, much to my family's dismay, I don't do Facebook.

Congrats. I don't either, and am trying to get my family to stop.

Good luck. What's really sad is not being on facebook totally leaves you out of the loop with all interpersonal communication. Sometimes, that's a good thing and sometimes not. We never get photo updates of our granddaughter and I haven't talked to one brother for over a year. He never answers the phone or responds to messages. It's 100% facebook with him. Sorry, but I'm not going there.

I took this shot of my clown shoe (Smurf Hearse) at the Hard Core Hearse Show last summer. Kinda funny.

The size of the Z doesn't bother me. When I first got mine I had a good look at some at salvage auction. They passenger compartment holds up really well in hard crashes. Go to a salvage auction site like copart and have a look at hard crashed Z3s vs hard crashed large SUVs, you will likely be surprised. The A pillars are incredibly strong as well in a rollover, even without supplement from roll bars.

    Stubbornness is a virtue....
