I have read numerous posts about this. Does anyone have a permanent fix? My front driver's side turn signal blinks fast. Bulb is not out. I have replaced bulb and socket. Pried on the metal connections outside of socket. It worked well for a few days and then was back to blinking fast. I tried the fix of turning the socket a little (but not all the way). It will work for a couple of days and then back to blinking fast. Did anyone ever find a permanent fix for this? Thanks!

If this is in the front headlight the contact ring that connects to the bulb socket is burnt and that part is part of the headlight, I think
Yes, replace the headlight and it will be fixed.

To confirm take out the bulb and look in the hole with the flash light for the burnt mark and if it is the head light needs to be replaced
The socket makes contact with the the other contact ring which is part of the headlight
Yes, replace the headlamp for a blinker issue. Sorry that's not the answer you were hoping for.

Anyone know a cost efficient place to purchase a new headlight (halogen)?
Had same problem with my rear left turn signal - blinking fast but bulbs were fine. Turned out the bulb holder was not seated tightly in lamp assembly. The holder must be seated tightly to complete the circuits.
