Preventing rock chips on the fender lips?

Hey guys, wondering if anyone has any brilliant methods for preventing rock chips on the fender lips?

Just getting my rear quarters repainted now due to some rather large rock chips.

    Thanks

You can try some clear protective film like they use for bras, or headlight covers. I've also heard some good things about 3M Paint Defender spray, you can give that a look.
Feel free to ask about my car:

M50 Manifold | ASC Delete | Dinan BBTB | Fan Delete | Power Pulleys | Dinan CAI |
    S54 Oil Cooler
Z3 Rack | Crossbrace | 3.38 LSD | Dinan Strut Tower Brace | AKG Chassis Mount Shifter
SS Long Tubes | SS Race Exhaust |
LTW Replica Wing | MM Underpanel | CF Sunroof Delete
OE GT Front Splitter | Rear Rollbar | Rear Seat Delete | BW Fuel Starvation | Turtle Labs Door Panels

We're talking rock chips from the cars own tires.. Not a tailgating/following issue.

Roger that. Really the only thing I've found that works is some kind of clear bra or clear vinyl. Though I would let the paint fully cure with multiple hot days before applying such a vinyl. I opted for a small strip of 3m clear bra on my M4 and it's only about 2 years old but is already showing some yellowing. They claim they won't ever yellow, but in reality they always do.

Don't drive the car and just keep asking on FB groups how much your car is worth. That's a pretty hot trend in the m3 world right now.

    - 98 m3, techno/anthrazit cloth, 124k and officially worthless - 89 m3, alpine/black 143k and officially old - 2000 323it, tiag/grey, 169k and officially boring

Second on the skinner tires though, or less offset. Also tires with a higher treadwear tend to be less sticky and kick up less debris, at the cost of less grip of course.
