I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for this topic, or if it should go in one of the motorsports forums or a model-specific forum.
I have a project for which an ATC-700 T-case from an E70 X5 would be an easy choice to use.
It requires a controller for the center "diff" (not really a diff, just a clutch pack that sends torque forward)
There are center diff controllers on the market (e.g. https://www.full-race.com/store/niss...kyline-gt-r-1/ ) *HOWEVER* these controllers output a PWM signal that would need to be "translated" to work with the BMW T-case, which uses a servo and Hall effect position sensors.
Is there already such a product on the market for BMW's?
I would have thought the E90 series 335Xi or 335i xDrive cars could make serious use of such a device, since they can push 500+ ftlbs to the wheels.
Thanks!
I have never seen a similar product, partially because I think the bmw crowd is more into the RWD 335i and M cars. Maybe the older xdrive control modules for the x3 and x5 are easier to crack? Only thing i've really seen for the 335xi crowd is Xdelete that people use to make there car RWD. Maybe the people who created the Xdelete have the canbus information to allow you to make a similar product?
