Hello I have a ZF steering box in my alfa and am told the internals (gaskets seals bearings races) bay cross over to 2002 parts. Does anyone know of a site where these are sold? Some pix

Try the BMW2002 FAQ Classifieds...https://www.bmw2002faq.com/forums/fo...arts-for-sale/
Thanks I was asking about new parts. In the alfa world we have several European suppliers that carry specialty parts not commonly available in the United States. Such as alfaholics and classic alfa.
Sorry, it wasn’t obvious if you were looking to sell or buy. So you’re an Alfa guy looking to see if can locate 02 steering box parts to fit your Alfa box. The FAQ classifieds is still not a bad site to post a WTB in for used parts - and you’ll even see a quick-ratio box show up for sale there from time to time.
Through BMW Classic there’s still lots of 02 parts to still be sourced though BMW (dealers and new parts sources), and we have a nice selection of aftermarket and performance parts sources.
It might help you to know BMW part numbers — try realoem.com to look them up.
Here’s a link to Ireland Engineering, one of my fave sources - and their 02 steering box rebuild kit: http://www.iemotorsport.com/bmw/item/02strbxkt.html
I don’t know anyone selling new box internals tho...
HTH!

Very helpful thanks! I forgot about realoem - its my bible for work on my E30 and I hadn’t thought it use it for older parts. The ireland link is a great start as well.
