Is the s54 upgraded oil pump still the hot stuff, or is the modified m50 s52 pump with upgraded shafts and sprocket considered enough for wheel-2-wheel these days? (read through the main post on this but it's a bit dated now)
VAC offers a S54 Oil Pump with M/S52 pump internals.
The S54 is a solid lifter engine, so it requires less oil volume.
I think you have to run the S54 pump pick-up and oil pan when using the S54 OP.
