Need help with wheel size - Style 163m?

Quick question - can somebody confirm the size of my wheels for me? As far as I know these are style 163m but I haven't been able to find 18 inch versions of those but it has 18 inch tires on it. The current tires on them are 275/35/18 and 245/20/18 in the front which I know is probably not correct.

Hi,

Those aren't genuine BMW wheels. BMW Style 163 wheels came in 19 inch only and were specific to the E46 M3/CSL. What you have is replica/counterfeit wheels.

Given the E46 M3 is very popular and there's literally thousands of them on the road, spare parts are easily sourced. Genuine CSL sets of these were slightly wider on the rear wheels and also lighter. Non CSL M3's had a narrower rear wheel and heavier. The genuine wheels come up relatively often and/or you can buy new from various retailers who may have them in stock including some BMW dealers.

There's other replica sets available in 18 or 19 inch sizing but quality is significantly lower.
