I bought this car from the 2nd owner and had the intentions of keeping it for a long time but plans have changed.
2000 740i just under 54k miles
This E38 is super clean basically brand new interior never had animals in it or kids eating food in the back.
The exterior is very good has a couple of small spots and i have pictures of all of them overally would say 8/10.
Has been extremely well maintained, has factory 18" mpars even have the monroney label to show factory option wrapped in basically new Michelin all seasons.
Have to see it to appreciate it, potentially open to trades that are more suited to my lifestyle mainly wagons. Pictures will show all the detail.
Has 3 things wrong with it that i have not addressed as i dont drive it much.
1-Right rear 1/4 window sunblind is stuck open and loose.
2- Front door locks do not work from key or central locking button have not put effort in due to me only ever opening the drivers door or trunk. I will look at in the next few days and address it if I find the time.
3- Left front outer tie rod is in need of replacement and again have not found the time.
Im not sure where this fits in the market so I am asking $8,000 and i am open to offers or trades as stated above.

Unless it’s bleeding oil and coolant your in the ballpark. I’ve shopped for 740i/iL over the last few years buying two. These are all over the map lately but what I’ve found is that the market drops hard above 100k miles. Under 100k, and especially under 60k these can bring $8-10k or more. 01’ short/sports are strongest, but any 00’ or 01’ with your miles should do well if the engine is dry. You may have to be patient.
Vehicle is sold
