Diagnostic Software?

Hi fellas,
I am new to this forum and I have read many articles here about diagnostic software and I am a bit confused. I mainly need that tool to read and delete errors. If there is more functionality such as turning off specific airbag due to error or releasing the electric handbrake on newer models in order to change the brake pads and so on would be an advantage . The cars that I want to use that tool on are E60,E90 and F10 (all before face if it matters).
I have taken a look at Delphi software that comes with a cable and disk to install it on a laptop but there are many non genuine tools on the market. These prototypes are around 60-80 Euros.
Last but not least, where I can get that software (link to download?) and are all cables OBD2 to USB reliable or can you give me an example where I can get one that is of good quality.

use a dcan cable for e-series and enet cable for f-series.

Srry to hijack this thread - but its all on the same theme - just need further info on this diag S/W.
Car is a 2010 E93, Ive just bought myself a cable that switches KCan and DCan from Bcables, who also supplied INPA, TIS. I also have ISTA-D and ISTA-P downloaded......
now the questions,
1)everywhere I look I see K-Dcan as well as K+Dcan are these different things or just two ways of writing KCan and Dcan ??
2)If I have ISTA and INPA which should I use - or is it just preference??

Newby here! Considering my first BMW, 2010 128i and looking for appropriate scan tool. Have found ANCEL BM700 and wondering if any of you have experience with one? Does it come with ALL of the connectors, cables etc. to diag and reset? 71,000 mile 128i that has just come out of the dealership’s shop for some recalls and head gasket replacement.
