    Walmart Supertech Transmission Fluid

The Walmart supertech full synthetic transmission fluid says its recommended for BMW 5HP. Think it's alright to use on my E46 ZF 5HP? It's quite a bit cheaper SmartSelect_20190823-100111_Chrome.jpg

How much cheaper than what? Do you know how to properly change the fluid in the transmission? It’s a bit more complicated than most folks believe.

    I'd not use it.
All of those manufacturers went to some trouble specifying fluid for specific needs. I am skeptical of one claiming to effectively cover so many.
I don't think WalMart will be buying you a new trans if it fails.
Pretty sure yours calls for Shell LA2634

    I've got two bottles of Pentosin MTF-2 that's no longer needed. $40 plus packing/shipping. E-mail Feffman@Yahoo.com or call/text (314) 249-3770.

Why would anyone put MTF in an automatic?

I recommend that you order Pentosin ATF-1, per ZF's recommendations.
