Hey Everyone,
I purchased a Randy Forbes Differential Mount and Trunk Floor Reinforcement Kit for my M-Roadster. I'm looking for a list of shops that have successfully completed any BMW Subframe Repairs in the local 400 miles Radius. If you have had experience from any shops in Ohio, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, West Virginia, Tennessee, Michigan, Pennsylvania - That would be great.
Here's my list so far:

Randy talked me into doing it myself, it's not really that hard.... But does take time and patience!! If you can get someone to do the welding, that's the toughest part in my opinion!!
I can weld... I just don't have the time. Honestly, I told myself that if I can have someone do the work and do a decent job for under what I would pay myself it's WELL worth it. Doing it myself it would likely take 50-60 man hours. And depending what you would pay yourself, anything under $2k from a reputable shop is "Drop Everything and Drop the Car off" Bid pricing.
I understand your logic, I bought the car partially knowing that I might need to get my hands dirty from time to time, so it made sense to me.
Thanks, Jason

Dropped the car off yesterday for reinforcement service. They have experience completing the same service on e46 and e36. Good crew of people up there. I'll report back when the time comes.
Which shop did you go with? My car is in Louisville so I'm interested in your progress on this.

Hey Randy
I contacted the M shop here in LA. Maybe I talked to the wrong guy but they told me they only installed the Dinan solution?
I found some shops are a bit picky. Try another shop. Randy's kit is much better than Dinan's.

Personally I'd go with the shop Randy recommended - they have obviously done a few, and (hopefully) not messed em up. Experience is critical with jobs like these it seems...
EAG I'm sure will do it. For all the $$$ lol

I just picked up the car last week. I had the work completed at MWorks Garage here in Cincinnati.
The first thing I noticed right away was how tight the rear of the car is now. My car has 79,000 miles and has poly bushings as a preventive item. The trunk spot welds weren't bad but, you could see there was evidence of one of them starting to pull so I pulled the plug. I went with the single ear double up mount procedure because I wanted to keep the stock rear differential case. They left the provisions open for if I decide to go with the dual ear option in the future. I am in the process of installing my Koni Single Adjustable with TC Cline (R) & Ground Control (F) Coilover setup. I will report back once I get cracking - I'm waiting on eibach helper springs/collars and my tires to come in.
I am waiting for MWorks to send me the project photos. Once I receive them I will update the thread.

Took the car out to test before I installed coilover setup and new shocks/struts. The rear end feels a lot more tied together. Almost as if I installed an aftermarket rear sway bar and RSTB type of feeling. Went on a 70 mile tour with local Porsche Club Sunday and met a couple of Bimmer guys there as well. Car felt good and I'm happy I had the work done. Still working on getting the install pictures from MWorks Garage. As soon as I recieve I will post them up.
I just made an appointment to have RTAB pocket reinforcements welded on my e36 M3 at MWorks. Just wanted those 2 done as the other reinf I plan to carry the subframes into work and have them welded... just can’t carry the whole car in.
