$2,000 GRM Challenger in 6 Cyl Z3 - Oct 2019

Replaced Guibo & center release bearing at shop - $300

Bought 17X8 3 series wheels - $120

Total budget: $720

Subtracting from $2,019, I have $1,299 left.

Please help me choose coilovers as that's the next step. Ranked in order until I hear otherwise are my most to least likely to purchase.

1. Godspeed Monomax 12K F 10K R springs (keep rear sway bar) $800
1.5 Godspeed Monomox 8K F 10K R springs (remove rear sway bar) $800

2. BC Racing BR 10K F 12K R springs (remove rear sway bar) $995

3. TA Technix [ebay] 9K F 10K R (hopefully not met with slow painful death) $349

4. Bilstein or Koni shocks $0 (wear item). Concern for camber

Any others I should consider? FEAL would put me out of range, sadly.

I'm largely considering the cheapo ones since I can try to sell something off the car and get to $1,000 for the added challenge.

Or, I can buy 17X9s and fit a 245/40 tire w/o pinching. Otherwise I will pinch a 235/40 Federal RS-RR/RS-pro on the 8s

Input? Is adding a front sway bar really needed?

I like my cars to understeer slightly at the limit. I drive a STX R56 Mini S and STR NB Miata most frequently at autocross and track days.

My largest problem is I saw at the wheel making driving a STR ND Miata a drifty but usually still quick excursion. I cannot relearn to drive in under 2 months.
