Has anyone seen this before? I’m not sure what the problem is, the car seems to be running fine. I tried a Bluetooth ODBII reader and no codes were thrown.
Did the button get pressed, I ask a shop to scan the car
You need a better scanner that can read the ABS module. Most Bluetooth scanners only talk to the engine DME.
Suggest one of the following:
- Foxwell NT520 with BMW software
- INPA, cable and old laptop see https://www.bimmerforums.com/forum/s...xperimentation
Both will read and reset the ABS codes and a lot more.
1999 2.8L Z3 Roadster,
2000 3.0L Z3 Roadster,
There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.
I get the same lights on my 03, 2.5. I do have a Creador code reader for BMW. Mine will clear the fault but it comes back after driving. It says my brake pressure sensor 1 has a fault. I bought one of a car at the salvage for 3 dollars and plan on replacing it. It is the one closest to the front of the car , 5 minute job when I get around to it
Replaced sensor 1 with used sensor, problem solved so far.
replaced rotary sensor in 325ci but abs light is still on
