2016 BMW X1 - I see white spots under the hood.

Hello Bimmer geeks,

I see weird white spots under the hood.
This is my very first BMW car. I am worried if the white spots are some oil leaked or some kind of important liquid (ex. coolant)

Those spots look like dried salt water or bmw coolant. Look for leaks from water pump or a hose or connection leak that sprayed on fan.
Car is a little young for failed pump seal, but anything is possible.
