Will 2008 e92 nav dvd drive work in 2007 e92?

There is an 08 local to me, I really don’t want to swap the whole thing, I don’t care about the bells and whistles of the 08, I just want my navigation to work again.

I noticed this thread has a ton of views so I thought I should update and say that yes, it does, it plugs right in. You will also need the faceplate because they are different, but the seat heater switch panel is the same so you wont need that. Only thing that was weird is the AUX input is disabled but I’m pretty sure that’s just a coding thing.
