Replacement Tires

I have a 2010 BMW 750 Xi, Right front tire need to be replaced all the other tires are in good shape with plenty of tread. I have been told I must replace both front tires at the same time to prevent problems with suspension ride variations, I have also been told the same thing but that all four tires need to be changed at the same time. Is this true? Can I just replace the punctured tire with the same size tire?

Do you have staggered tires?
How much tread on your other tires, in 32nds of an inch?
In my opinion, the tires should all be about the same tread depth. So if your tires are almost new, you'd probably be ok with just 1 tire. I personally prefer to replace in pairs or 4s.

BMW does allow up to 3/32" tread depth difference from tire to tire. Measure the tread depth and go from there. If I can help let me know.
