Cleaning contrast stitching. Looking for recommendations on process and products.

I have two cleaning jobs I'd like to tackle that involve cleaning contrast stitching. I'm trying to clean the blue/red M stitching on my CSi's steering wheel and the contrast stitching on the door panel/armrest in my 2012 range rover autobiography.

I'm curious if it's better to use a brush or sponge on the stitching? Spray cleaner vs foam?

    Your recommendations are greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

I just detailed a car with an m wheel and the stitching you're talking about. Personally I felt the brush + leather cleaner did a fine job. I use chemical guys leather cleaner/conditioner on all that stuff. No fade in the color and it worked well. Just my 2c
