What to do with cans of R-12?

Well now that I no longer own an E30, I have a few cans of R-12 left that I dont know what to do with. Anyone in the NY or Boston area know anyone that could use it?

If you end up selling it, just make sure the package is labeled for ground shipment only. Not doing so will surely get you smacked.

I just sold my supply to refrigerantfinders.com. Simple process. I called them, told them what I had. They sent me boxes with prepaid shipping labels. I boxed it up, took it to UPS, and a week later got a check in the mail. Currently paying about $1/oz for the stuff. Tire money!

Just search for r12 on Ebay. Do not look at r12a as it is something else.

I still just use propane. just did the wife's jeep Cherokee (xj) because no one locally had any r134 or r12. 43 at the vent

I went ahead and ordered the "R12" from that eBay listing. Need it for both my E34 and S124 Benz. Let's see if it does the trick.
