Impossible to change language recognition using NCS Expert

Hi guys,

First of all, excuse my level of English.


Than, I am cedric of Toulouse (France) I am a happy owner of an E71 (2009). I had English, Italian and German as languages of the interface and Italian as language of the speech recognition. I used NCS Expert to easily modify the menu languages (French, English and German). When I wanted to change the speech recognition languages this did not work. The steering wheel button does not work anymore. I tried several times but without success. I even tried to change other parameters (sound signal when closing doors, automatic closing windows when locking doors), but nothing happened.

For that you need to flash the correct language, coding won't do.

Thank you vert much for your answer. Howerver, how can I do to flash French as a recognition voice ? Just to remind you that the Burton works well before (but on Italian voice).

You need to use Winkfp to Flash. However, don't flash CIC without ICOM.
