    Rear cargo cover question!!

I’m a newbie to the e39 chassis.. but I have a quick question about the rear cargo cover. Will a cargo cover from another wagon ( 3 series, newer 5 series , x3,x5) fit the e39 wagon?? Just curious.

A 3 is a smaller chassis, so an easy no. X's, I doubt but who knows, the first gen X5 is widely regarded as "mostly" an E39, but not by me. Before or after 5 series maybe on a long shot, but even if the width is right I doubt the mounting is. If the tape measure says yes, and it's returnable at Pick and Pull, go for it. Otherwise save your money for better investments like lottery tickets.

Good luck finding a black one, at a good price, and one that the owner is willing to let go of. I do have a spare tan one, but I need to take a good look at it. It was in my other green wagon which got wrecked, tweaked, quite severely, the car is slightly diamonded. The other ones I have are grey. If the tan one survived the crash, I'll make you a good deal on it. My brother lives in South Jersey, he comes here almost every other weekend, you could pick the stuff up from his location if you can't come down this far. Stephen VA lives about 15 mins from me, I can get the cargo mat from him, for you. I have the wreck stored in a holding lot out at my job, I'll try to remember to check it later on and get back to you.

It is sitting in the garage all cleaned and waiting for a road trip. No tears no wear marks etc. It has the cut outs for the floor anchors mounts points. Better known as the "brat strap" points.
