no sound at all

hello
i just bought a 2012 740Li that refuses to emit any sound from any speaker whatsoever! hooked it up to a scanner and tested the L7 amp with high freq and low freq and the speakers worked. looked up trouble codes and got this:
Connection head unit to SDARS aerial foot: Open circuit

anyone know where this satellite foot aerial is located?
DTC is B7F8B4 if that helps in some way.

I had this issue with a F01 I had a while ago. Bought it with that issue, so no background as to why. Ended up being a coding problem, after reprogramming sound worked fine and code went away.

I used ista to recode but still no sound

If the car has the sos system which it probably does the sos module can cause the no sound problem, you could try installing the fiber optic loop to take the sos module out of the system sos module is probably in the trunk
