Whalen Shift Machine -$80

This $150 piece is machined out of solid stainless steel then polished to chrome like shine. It sits incredibly low, so much so that it shortens the shift throw and the added weight gives the shifts a more solid feel.
But the best part is the way that it attaches to the BMW shift rod. Doug machined a slip collar that perfectly matches the groove in the BMW shift rod. It just snaps on or off like a air chuck on a air hose.
And unlike the ZHP knob it does come off if you slam into second gear and become weaker each time it does like the BMW design.
