I am thinking of buying an M2 Competition as a track day car, but they have a damn speed limiter on it and they want to charge you $2500 to remove it. Yeah, that includes a day at their M-School, but 1) that doesn't appeal to me for a variety of reasons (e.g. I can buy one hell of a lot of track time for $2500) and 2) That is a hell of a lot to pay to get rid of an unwanted speed limiter on something they are selling me for $65+K. Does anyone know how to get rid of the speed limiter in the M2 Competition?
Thanks,

Considering car is under warranty would you want to mess with that? And TBH I can’t see you really going past 155mph on a a road course anyway so might not even be worth the hassle.

I go past 155 on a road course pretty regularly. I have been running an 18 Shelby GT350 and it turns 165 at Daytona. It turns over 155 at several tracks - though not for as long as it does at Daytona. I would think an M2 Competition would run similarly at those tracks...

Seems like only tuners that can do those are the ones in Europe?
