    WTF I don't even...

Time for an electric fan? Will those dents pound flat or do you need yet another hood?

I figure another hood would be cheaper than it being fixed by a body shop. I haven’t gotten a quote for that, but another hood would run me $150 and an hour drive.
I finally got my Maserati Biturbo project off the ground, after letting it sit for 6 months. Got that car running and driving, so that’s gonna take my attention. Just need an easy and quick fix for the 7. I know I can do everything on that extensive list, but not sure if I want to lol. Still haven’t touched the Msport or the 900 turbo really...

Sounds familiar. Those with the ‘sickness’ always have way too many projects to go around.

I think you give this guy at least one more chance. If he explodes again... find the nearest cliff. Your colors is bound to come up at some point right?!

Finally got my registration! 800 bucks total, for some nice new plates lol

Also went and got a “new” hood. It’s a shame that the fan clutch went, as this new hood is missing the gloss of the old. For now it will do.

Went ahead and did the driveshaft center bearing, as I had a knocking underneath the car on acceleration, and on bumpy roads. The one in there looked fine actually, only thing I could tell was that the bearings could be heard if you shook it. I put the new on in there, and same knocking sound. Thinking maybe something to do with on of the strut mounts.

Knocking under acceleration? How's the giubo look? Did you check the driveshaft for play in the CV (very undersized in this application, dinky little 86mm on this hefty beast) or U-joint?

$800, oh dear. Since moving to Montana, I think that's more than I've spent on all my vehicles' registrations combined.

Yeah don’t mention the registration. Still stings lol.

No guibo, just a u joint. Seemed okay to me, might not be though. Ill do another visual look over before though, just to see.

Because the pictures weren’t working when I originally uploaded it. Also got around to modifying the early front bumper I have, to mount the later dual ducts along the bottom lip. My dremel wheels just got ate up by the plastic, but it’s on and mounted. Now I don't have a cracked front bumper anymore.

The to-do list is shrinking, slowly but surely!

    What a lovely interior.
I so wish my car had extended silver leather!

Thank you! After finishing the inserts in the doors (I actually don’t mind interior work, compared to the cheaper construction of an e34 interior), the grey headliner is live able. Not as many contrasting colors.

If you can find a wrecked or parted out 750 up there, you can have that extended leather! I haven’t seen very many silver interiors in an e32 though, so might be easier said than done. I’ll keep my eye out for you down here

    Cheers

Yeah I've been looking on ebay but only saw vinyl panels.
I'd have to find a local car to source the parts too because shipping is very expensive from US to Canada.
But finding that rare part is part of the fun

Btw are the chrome door handles actual metal?
I've been looking to swap those into my car but I'll pass if they are plastic.

Ehh, the grey still clashes. Perhaps some kind of dark brown, if not black?

    That's an excellent plate.

Can't be sure from this angle, but that center support does look like it's sagging.

They're either a dense plastic with real chrome, or solid metal (probably cheap potmetal) with chrome. I have them in my E34 (more here).

Yeah, when I feel like spending $, she’ll be getting some new black headliner. For now, I’ll be spending my $ on tracking down that clunk. Luckily running out of things to replace!

They might be a cheap metal, but they look great. Seeing that hint of calypso, and just a clean, sorted interior. Very jealous if I do say so myself.

That headliner is fairly new. Maybe just remove it, paint it black, and reinstall?

That’s a good idea. I remember you telling me it was brand new, and it still looks it. I’m putting it low on the priority list for now, as I can live with the slight color clash.

Yeah. Sometimes patience with these projects is the hardest part. I personally really dig what you’ve been able to put together interior wise. Will it look better with the pillars and headliner black? Fo ‘sho. But it still looks as is.

Had a hard decision to make here. With 5 cars, and only room for 3, I had to start thinning the herd. I know I’ll regret this, but I’ve always had a problem getting emotionally attached to cars. I’ve priced the car where I feel appropriate, and where I think an actual enthusiast will be most likely to buy it. I’ve already got some interest, but we will see what happens. Would love for the car to stay local, but as said, we will see who actually shows up. Still had more on the agenda, but kinda ran out of time to sort my other affairs. Any interest here, please pm me or text/call me directly.

Almost didn’t want to post this, but I figure I’ve done something right if my for sale post is on page 7 of the thread, rather than page 1
