Took delivery of 2020Z40Mi. Set setting to Sport+. Everytime I start the car the setting has defaulted back to Comfort and I have to repush the Sport button. Not difficult just annoying as Dealer tells me that is the way it is. Maybe I should have stayed with my 2018 Audi S5 Cabrio.
Is the dealer correct or he just does not know the technology in the car. Input appreciated .

I took delivery of my 2020 Z4 M40i on May 25th and when I restart my car it restarts in the setting i.e. Sport Plus or Comfort that it was in when I shut the car off. I will have to go out an verify this just to make sure it doses what I'm telling you. You can also go into Sport mode and configure the specific settings you want by going into the Individual setting. Although I never paid close attention to this on the other 2 e89's (2014 and 2016) I had previously to this M40i, but they did default back to the comfort mode whenever I restarted the car even though I had the car in Sport or Sport Plus mode when I shut the engine off.
