    Bosch Motrosport ABS M4

Anyone running the bosch M4 or M5 ABS? Which wheel speed sensors did you use? Installing on e46, and obviously the Bosch sensors don't fit.

I am planning to and I've talked to them about the sensors. They require a specific kind of sensor but he did say that in working with some E46 teams, SOME of the sensors that come on those cars are compatible (DF11, AMR sensors). He said these are compatible which fit the E36 and E46:

    • Delphi SS20041 (front left)
    • Delphi SS20042 (front right)
    • Delphi SS20097 (rear left or right)

Thanks for this info! I have the system on the bench now ... I'll post when I find more info

I can confirm that the blue connector speed sensors found on most e46s with DSC work with the Bosch motorsport ABS. Just did some bench testing, and got most of it now wired in the car. The same sensors we had for the CSL M3 ABS will work here as well. Will report again once it's all plumbed in (pretty similar to the M3 unit, but some fittings are M10/M12 swapped … silly)

That's excellent to know that the sensors already in most e46's will work with this system. Once you get the system installed i'd love to hear some feedback on the system.

It's now installed. Some plumbing changes (m10 vs m12 silliness), but otherwise not bad. Some +12, some GND, brake light switch same as M3 unit, swap a pressure sensor (Bosch only uses 1 sensor), and find locations for the switch, light, and control knob. That's about it.

Will be testing it out this weekend on a very brake challenging track … see how is compared to the CSL unit
