Legit?

I'm in Bangkok for work, and was pretty shocked to see an E30 next to my cab:


No idea if it's legit or not. You can never tell in Bangkok...

Thoughts?

Well your way more likely to see something like this overseas then in the us because of the smog and safety regulations imposed by our government

Well your way more likely to see something like this overseas then in the us because of the smog and safety regulations imposed by our government

I dunno - I have a federalized Euro E24 and have seen plenty of Euro E30s in the US. I doubt Hartge (like Alpina) had much footprint in the US, and there weren't lots of them to begin with.

Looks more like a tribute: rear bottom valance and side skirts are different. Front fender reflector was non existent in the factory pics.
I would also hope the owner knowing it was a true Hartge would never deduct the value by "stance - ing" it..

Agree with this. I'd also never heard of an H26 convertible.
