E70 Running Boards

[300kplus]

Greetings! So I finally found the E70 I wanted and pulled the trigger on it. My E39 has seen better days [400+] miles on the clock and will go to a buyer who's interested...
So I'm looking for some running boards for my 2013 the E70 and am looking for running board recommendations. Anyone have any good, bad or indifferent insight on this? First time dealing with this so any information will be greatly appreciated!

Looks nice! I tried that link but it says it doesn't fit my vehicle...
I wonder is it because it's because it's an LCI perhaps?
Anyway I want to ask you are you satisfied with the thickness of the metal of those boards? Do they seems sturdy enough for you? Yes I'm concerned being there are so many online, of getting up there and that are just rinky dinky and not quality thick enough metal... Any insight? Also, fairly easy DIY?

Yeah you can’t follow ebays guide . They are sturdy but mostly just for looks . It took me 30 minutes to take the originals off and add the ones I purchased .

I just bought an E71 and I hate the running boards, I want to replace them with the stock rocker panels. Does anyone know if the OEM E70 rocker panels fit the E71? And if so 300kplus any interest in selling me the rocker panel/support you take off? (Trade you for the OEM running boards if you want / if they are compatible)
