    SPAL fan issue

I was having an issue with my spal fan it would keep running when I would cut the car off sometimes and sometimes it wouldn’t. But the other day I noticed the temp rising and so I pulled over to check and where the fuse for the fan is completely melted into a ball. Would I just need to install new wiring where the fuse goes in or is there more of an issue?

Typically it’s supposed to be a 30 amp fuse

Also is the fan relay connected to the ignition wire from the 20 pin connector?

Yeah you’re right it is a 30. When I bought the car in 2011 the spal fan was already installed and I haven’t had an issue until about 5/6 months ago with the fan not cutting off when I cut the car off and I’ve had to replace the fuse once but that was 4 years ago. And weekend before last is when the fuse melted into the holder. Now it’s not working at all.
