Basically I have a 2001 740il and I'm looking at getting these wheels https://www.wheelhero.com/customwhee...0aAt2bEALw_wcB
Will they fit with no issues for me? Also one thing I dont understand is tire size. Like what width of tires would I even get. Any help is appreciated, once I started looking into this I became aware that I didn't really know what I was doing. Also specs to these rims can be found here

The offset on those is too far positive. They'll sit too far in and you'll need pretty big spacers for them to work. At 8.5" width, look for something with an offset closer to 10 - 20 mm rather than 35. For an 18x8.5, I'd tend to suggest running the stock M Parallel front size of 235/50R18. They should sit nicely on the wheels and they're a good fit for the car height-wise.
BMW wheel size chart below shows the average offset range and other wheel specs that should help in your quest. Also...sites like www.tirerack.com has lots of info that can help you educate yourself in regards to wheel & tire information that will help you make a choice:
