NYC Sanitation was kind enough to run one of their trucks down the side of my 750 - There's really no way to replace the rear quarter is there beyond cutting it out and reshaping something from new metal or filler it, correct? The door I can replace if needed, the quarter isn't just scraped, it's dented. Any thoughts appreciated.

Realistically you will likely need used and paint.

Being that they should be paying, find the best body shop you can and get a quote for that quarter. It'll definitely involve some amount of metal work to fix that.
Yeah they should pay for it, but it's a huge process to get the city to pay for anything, but I'm optimistic since a supervisor actually came out and took a report, but you never know.
I'll find something used as long as a competent body person can get it done.
Thank you both for the info, much appreciated.
