I found out to have my O2 sensors coded out, they also have to stay unplugged. Does anybody have a creative way to keep dirt and grime out of the connectors that are unplugged (primarily the ones from the car)? Don't want to cut the wires on perfectly good sensors, and can't remove the sensors for inspection.
To retain the sensors (at least appearance) for inspection, you could install a pair of old failed pair of sensors, clip the ends of each sensor's harness off and use heat shrink to make them appear intact. This would have the same effect as the sensors being unplugged. This advice is for off road use only of course
