    850 CSi problems

    Hello i have some problems with my 850 CSi and was woundering if someone had the same issue.

    The car idle at 500 rpm ish and i get cheak light and after a while cheak engine light. When driving on low rpm the car jumps and is hard to drive, but when about 5k rpm the car have full power (feels like a turbo kicks in/vtec) and the cheak engine light goes away but comes back again when i dont hit the throttle.

    And the car is really hard to start when it have been sitting for a while after the drive.


    And some rattle noice from the clutch area when the car is warm and in gear can it be the throw out bearing or is the input shaft shot?

    Limp Mode
    From Shogun, Highlight Items First

    Spark plugs
    Plug wires
    Ignition coils
    Change fuel filters
    Check fuel pumps, your 850 has 2 of them
    Hoses to fuel pressure regulators – might be cracked/worn
    Rubber hoses between Airflow Meters/MAF and throttle valves – cracked?
    Mass Airflow meter/sensor – if dirty clean it up. Bad Air Flow Meter will cause flat spots in acceleration or erratic spots in the throttle depending on the opening of the airflow meter not usually a complete lack of power.
    Air filters – clogged/dirty?
    Distributor caps and rotors – if eroded and worn - changed to new ones
    Check fuel pressure - Replace the Fuel Pressure Regulators. Might need to replace Fuel Pumps.
    Throttle Bodies- Clean them out and replace the gasket (can use gasket material cut to size) http://www.mwrench.com/Whitepapers/DKMotorcleanup.pdf
    Check all Vacuum lines.
    Check for Oxygen (O2) sensor function tests
    Make sure connections on battery (under back seat) are very clean. Use wire brush.
    Check rubber boot between the Mass Air Flow and the DK
    Check for intake manifold gasket leak
    Checked coolant temperature sensors
    Check air temperature sensors

    First thing to do is plug it into a computer with INPA and read the codes. The car will tell you what's wrong. Never start by replacing or swapping random parts. The car has diagnostics for a reason.

    Ok, i did a stop test and got 1221 , 2222 , 2221. I bought the ads interface but i have to buy a laptop with the RS port for it.
