I got ripped off by a local shop who sold me genuine "e39 fitment" wheels, but turned out to be e38's - for sale on another thread. My mistake not checking their size and part numbers before I paid :/

I know the offsets aren't the same, but you could have the hubs bored out to e39 specs........

I've thought about it. But I assumed (so far wrongly) that someone would want these unmolested e38 genuine BMW MPars I have, and I'd be able to take that cash and find the right e39 MPars for my car. Call me a purist. But I may have to go this route if I cant find a solution soon.
