I'm selling my E38 because I want to focus on a few other projects. It has 187k on the body(stored winters). The engine and trans have 100k and were both removed from a 540i for the swap. I installed a new clutch, resurfaced the flywheel, and replaced the fluid. While the trans was out I replaced the rear main seal and the coolant seal. In the last 500 miles I changed the timing guides, resealed the Vanos units, installed new water pump, painted the valve covers in wrinkle black, re-sealed the valley pan, changed the pcv system, installed an older m62 intake manifold, changed the tires, installed cross drilled an slotted brakes with ceramic pads, halos, and new taillights, and more that I'm forgetting. It has the full BSW upgrade including the subwoofer along with the full screen Navigation unit and a usb flash drive adapter. There are no leaks and it runs perfectly and all of the common M62 issues have been addressed. Up for sale for $7200. i just had a question im about to do the swap my self but was wondering do you have a parts list? I have already purchased fly wheel, clutch slave cylinder, master cylinder, pedals, trans. what else do I need. i really appreciate your help.
