So is it even possible to get a set of new rims that are 6.5Jx15" with a 5x120PCD? Or a set of conversion plates so I don't need to worry about this at all?
I've got the stock wheels right now, ugly things that you need to cover with hubcaps (the stock hubcaps are even uglier, can you believe that)
I'm wondering how I'm supposed to go about replacing these wheels. Preferring to keep the tyres as is, as I just bought a set of new ones.
If I need to replace the tyres then replacing the wheels can be prioritised last.
Any information at all will be welcome since I understand most E46's come with 16" and above.
The 4-cylinder cars you can run the 15' rims, but not the 6-cylinder, the front brakes will not clear.
So yes, the bolt pattern is 5x120, and the hub size is 76mm. The question is what offset are you looking at? Normal offset is ET-45 ish, so find a rim like that.
Also with a 6 1/2 inch rim, you are looking at the 195-65 R-15 size tyres, or just look at the sticker in the door jam.
As a side note, any E-9x or other 3-Series rims will fit that car, except the E-30's.
