Extended Maintenance Discount?

Has anyone managed to get their dealership to shave anything off the list price for extended maintenance? If so, how much? Current list is $2095 for 2 years or $1075 for 1 year.

You need to ask your self do I drive the car enough to warrant getting this extended contract and what are you actually getting for it. Because there is a strong possibility that it won't and it was a waste of money

I agree. But especially if they discount a bit, oil changes ... and depending upon whether the brakes will wear down during this period or not ... would make the decision.

Any dealer can sell you the extended warranty. Do a google search on 'discounted BMW extended warranty'.

All you are doing is prepaying for the maintenance. Maintenance that it may or may not need. BMW wouldn't sell the plans if it wasn't profitable for them.

The dealer markup for those is $350 per year of coverage, so there's not a lot of room for discounting.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm fully aware of what the extended maintenance includes and fully aware that I may or may not need everything. Just wanted to see what I could get the cost down to.
