Currently finishing my CCV replace and I find two of these by my driver's headlight area. Any ideas? they are about an inch long, no part # but both have an "L" marking. Appreciate the forums help!IMG-0006.jpg

I think those may be the(broken off) tips of the spark plug wires/boots whatever the F they are called.

It's part of the intake manifold, I can't remember why and I don't think they're sold separately. One of mine was either missing or lost when I did my PCV replacement so I went to the junk yard to get one. They just slide into the intake manifold sorta to the side of the larger intake pipes if you will.

Well I guess I screwed this job up! Any idea where those tubes go?...i.e. I already re-installed the IM....Oh well.

Can't remember I think it was some sort of weird thing that just went around a stud or something. Regardless I'm very positive it's an unimportant piece as I was apparently running with one missing for quite awhile and had no issues.Originally Posted by raudi1
