2000 E39 528i Touring, 303K miles, VA - $1200

Need to find a good home for my 2000 528iT, Oxfordgruen 2 Metallic, and aluminum Surf rack cross bars modified from a 90's Mercedes Wagon (very low profile). Opportunity arose to buy neighbors 2003 330i M-Sport, and don't have the parking to keep both. Will include Bentley E39 Service Manual and 20 Pin OBDI to OBDII Adapter Cable, along with other parts I've collected. Bought this from another neighbor about 4 yrs. ago with 224K miles, and have done a lot of needed repairs (and more) in last couple of years listed below:

- New Starter, Key Switch, and Battery (Excide AMG under warranty) - always take battery to get load tested before replacing Starter!
- Front and Rear Suspension/Steering - FCP Euro Kits to include all bushings/control arms/links and BC Coilover Kit (very slightly lowered and aligned)
- Kuhmo Solis TA71 Tires (good condition with approx. 25K miles)
- Front and Rear Bosch Quiet Cast Brake Pads and Discs
- Saleri Water Pump and Borg/Wahler Thermostat, Heater Pipes and Hoses
- DISA Valve and Fuel Pump, along with associated plumbing
- Plugs and Valve Cover Gasket
- many other items

The car still looks good and runs great, but has 303K miles and needs some work. I really love this car and my plan was to restore/maintain/replace things over time this year before the offer of the 330i with the third pedal came along. Below is a partial list of the things needed I wanted to get done this year.

- New windshield - two hairline cracks at bottom of drivers side corner, and lots of micro-pitting after going so many miles. May pass inspection depending on the inspector.
- Oil Pan Gasket and Motor Mounts - has a slight leak, but not terrible. Mounts have never been replaced.
- Rear Carrier Subframe Bushings - it's a wagon with 303K miles
- Headliner
- Drivers Heated Seat has short (really missed that this winter)
- Front Bumper Cover has crack

Really would like to see someone who appreciates these cars buy this and keep it going for another 100-200K miles. Don't want to see great cars go to the Pick-n-Pull (but sometimes glad they are there). Pic taken today. Will upload more if requested. I change oil and filter every 6K miles with Mahle Oil/Air Filters and Mobile Extended Mileage 5W-30 Synthetic. Previous owner had all maintenance done by dealer.
