    1998 740il, 2011 F250 6.

    Is torque converter normally exposed?

    Starting looking for an exhaust leak and noticed the front of the transmission is open, looks like the torque converter, is this normal? I’ve never seen this on any other car we have had, then again I’m learning the e38 is special
